What We Do
Designing Interactive turns ideas into profitable web applications. We are a tiny, but mighty, team of agile developers/designers.
Founded in 2001, Designing Interactive has been involved in the development of hundreds of applications including brochureware websites, web 2.0 applications, social media applications, mobile applications and enterprise- ready web applications.
We believe in simple.
It is tough to build simple interfaces, but the benefits are tremendous. Simple interfaces are easy to use, easy to understand, intuitive, fast loading, and easy to maintain. Our portfolio proves that simplicity doesn’t have to look cheap, feel plain, or be downright ugly.
We use text and standard interface elements instead of heavy, confusing interface widgets. We use text sizes that don’t require a magnifying glass to read. We don’t use seven words when four will do. Our applications are minimal and aesthetically beautiful. We believe usability should take precedence over “cool.”
We Understand Your Business
A successful web application is the result of a detailed understanding of the fundamental business processes behind it. Our approach to user experience research and testing is proven and highly respected across the country.
Agile and Responsive
We believe in small teams. Large teams are burdoned by mis-communication and poor management. We assign just enough staff to your project to be efficient. We use a Kanban agile process which encourages evolutionary project design.

We know our clients personally and develop lasting professional relationships. It’s an immense compliment when our clients express how much they enjoy working with us. We enjoy a laid back and friendly working atmosphere. We’re easily approachable and always keep you abreast of the project status.
