We specialize in the design and development of high quality interactive web applications.  Our unique approach to development allows our projects to evolve over time.  Our process allows you to change your mind about the way your project looks and behaves.

We dedicate time and resources to designing the experience your customers will have with your product.   Our process involves thorough user research, paper prototyping, customer-driven design and usability testing.

Josh Walsh founded Designing Interactive in 2001.  Dave Goerlich was brought on board as a partner for his technical implementation expertise in 2005.

Josh is obsessed with making web products enjoyable to use.  Don’t worry, it’s a healthy obsession.   His expertise ranges from user research, to user interface design, to usability testing.  He is fanatic about teaching and evangelizing his process to others.

Dave Goerlich

Dave’s code makes our applications tick.  He’s a detail-oriented kind of guy with a solid background in database administration and software architecture. Dave ensures our applications are always at the leading edge.  Don’t mess with his coding standards or agile process, or you are doomed to learn from your mistakes.

Local Developers

We believe in small teams, and therefore don’t keep jack-of-all-trades employees on staff.  Instead, we prefer to work with specialized local talent.  These are quality contractors, with an independent spirit, that we work with everyday.
